Front Office Support Associate at AFS Energy

Do you have a great attention for detail, an eagerness to learn and do you want to be part of the Renewable Energy transition? Would you like to be responsible for the accurate registry management of our accounts? And do you want to actively communicate with our clients and work in an international environment?

As Front Office Support Associate you will manage various registry accounts. You will pro-actively communicate with our existing client portfolio, supporting our ambitious team of Brokers. You will become the linking pin between Back Office and the Brokers / Front Office. As a member of the Front Office team, you will communicate with your Back Office colleagues daily to make sure trades and its accompanying administration runs smoothly. You will be part of- and contribute to the further growth of AFS Energy.

Your main tasks

  • Update the administration and registers
  • Check and correct administration
  • To be the liaison between Front Office and Backoffice
  • Check daily turnover reports
  • Work on improvement projects together with your colleagues

Competencies and qualifications

For this role we expect you:

For our Energy Product Development team, we are currently looking for a Product Developer who is able to combine his or her analytical skills with a commercial mindset. The renewable energy market is fast developing as more and more countries set ambitious goals to decarbonize the energy consumption. Innovative projects are initiated to fulfill these ambitions. Industries experiment with green hydrogen, waste become a feedstock for renewable fuel and renewable energy projects pop up everywhere we look. Renewable generation becomes cheaper every day. An overwhelming set of possibilities!

And this is where you come in. As our Junior Product Developer you’ll do a deep dive into new legislations around renewable energy and environmental commodities. You are the eyes and ears in this continuous developing market and know (or are eager to get to know) every little detail like the back of your hand. You oversee consequences of amendments in law and regulations, but you are also able to translate small changes into big commercial opportunities. You bring solutions and strategic concepts to the table that contribute to our client’s needs.
