Saying it’s going to be a busy week is an understatement. Today’s and Tuesday’s calendars are still empty, but then it gets busy. FOMC meeting on Wednesday evening and US retail sales earlier in the day. Then on Thursday, the ECB, Bank of England, Swiss National Bank and Norges Bank meetings. Markit will release its monthly PMIs that same day too. The Bank of Japan will round of the week with its monetary policy meeting on Friday morning. And then the holiday quiet should start, unless events intrude.
